UNWTO Ulysses Prize Laureate Open Forums

As part of PolyU’s 80th anniversary celebrations, the UNWTO Ulysses Prize Laureate Open Forums will be held on Day 1 and 2 of the conference when seven distinguished scholars will interact with conference participants to share their knowledge and insights.

 

The Open Forums are free of charge and open to the public. If you are registered delegates, seats have already been reserved for you. As seats are limited, non-conference participants are requested to RSVP in advance. Seats are on a first-come-first-served basis.

Optional Dinner with Speakers 

Bistro 1979 is the SHTM’s training restaurant. It is a student-run, multifunction food and beverage operation with a modern and fashionable atmosphere. 

One of the highlights of our conference – Optional Dinner with Speakers – will be held at this training restaurant. Dishes will be specially prepared by the Executive Chef Peter Find of The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong. This is a wonderful occasion for you to socialise and meet up with renowned speakers from around the world!

Established by the SHTM, the award aims to foster high-quality research among undergraduate students. Winners are invited to present their outstanding research at the conference and we look forward to their sharing.

The SHTM is pleased to introduce the “Community Impact Award” at HONG KONG 2017 in recognition of undergraduate students whose research have demonstrated great potentials for societal impact.

The award aims to recognise this achievement and to demonstrate our commitment to the community by opening minds of students through research.
